Loading the Mac version of TurboCAD
A few people have had a problem loading the Mac version of TC, it’s not quite so straight forward as the PC version, where you just more or less click on the download and say ‘Yes’ to everything.
So here are the instructions from IMSI
- In the Finder, locate the file you want to open.
(Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.)
- Press the Control key, then click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
- Click Open.

I have just downloaded TurboCad (took 3 hours!) and it will not run/open whatever I do, including the suggestion from IMSI which I had already tried! I am very computer literate!

I’m having trouble with the activation code.
The serial number I was given is MTAR 8705 0304 3310 3273 , I think as the “R” is not to clear and I’ve tried several combinations.
The amount number is 0410 1912 7173 6818 7476.
I bought Mac Deluxe at the London Model Engineer Show at Ally Pally.
