SketchUp Technical Information
Mavericks
I’ve had a couple of questions regarding any issues with Mavericks, so here’s the official line:
“The only specific, wide-spread issue we’re aware of with SketchUp on OS X Mavericks is how dialog boxes open/collapse and stick together. Specifically if you open a dialog box that is attached to another box then the two will become disconnected and moving one around won’t move the other any longer. This is due to a change in how OS X handles those types of boxes, unfortunately it broke the way that we used it. We’re working on a fix for an updated version but there won’t be any updates to SketchUp 2013 that will address this issue. Beyond that one issue any other Mavericks issues that may have come up were one-off behaviors that we’ve been unable to reproduce internally or with our beta users”.
So as v2014 is on the horizon, it would seem that everything is fine in this department. One-off odd behaviours that are neigh impossible to explain happens in all systems, but are very rare in SketchUp.
